TV Connect: ACCESS ‘Studio Confident’ Security Readies Multiscreen for Take-off
A recent CEA study revealed that 79% of viewers now access a second screen watching television, leading operators to deploy multiscreen services to stay atop of this growing demand. However, they need to demonstrate unwavering "studio confident" security to comply with the content industry's requirements.
TV Connect (March 18th — 20th, Olympia, London) will see ACCESS show how we have added support for the DLNA CVP-2 Guidelines in our NetFront Living Connect DLNA Technology Component and NetFront™ Browser NX 3.0 to allow multiscreen sharing of HTML5 based user interfaces including robust authentication and link layer security based on DTCP-IP. CVP-2 encompasses worldwide service provider & CE needs for a standards-based and robust solution for premium content sharing around the home.
Visitors to our TV Connect stand #93 will also be able to discover our collaboration with Verimatrix, including the integration of security solutions from Verimatrix to provide additional 'studio confident' security and the "Securing Video Services in the Home Network" white paper, which can be downloaded at http://eu.access-company.com/whitepapers.html
Additionally, a number of partners at the show will demonstrate how operators can utilise our universal software solutions to deliver true multiscreen and multi-room features that provide seamless sharing of protected, premium content both in the home and through the cloud. Our A-Z of on-stand demos at the show includes Accedo (stand 139), Alcatel-Lucent, Amino (105), Anvia, AppCarousel, Novabase, Verimatrix (149), Vestel (108) and Zenterio (91).
We will also demonstrate how our HTML5 WebKit-based NetFront™ Browser NX integrates with the world's most trusted TV-centric chipsets from manufacturers such as Broadcom, Intel, Entropic and STMicroelectronics.
