IBC Sees ACCESS Launch NetFront™ Browser BE, Leveraging The Chromium Blink Engine to Provide Industry’s Widest Choice of HTML5 Solutions
Oberhausen, Germany, September 3rd, 2014 − ACCESS CO., LTD (IBC stand 14.D14), a global provider of advanced software technologies to the mobile, beyond-PC and digital TV markets, today announced that IBC will see it launch NetFront™ Browser BE, built on the Chromium Blink browser engine. NetFront Browser BE extends the NetFront™ Browser family, which already includes the award winning WebKit-based NetFront™ Browser NX and super-small footprint NetFront™ Browser 4, giving ACCESS a unique position in the worldwide browser market.

- Enhanced memory management for embedded systems
- Open HTML5 application platforms (“app stores”) approach for maximum operator choice
- SDK approach enables manufacturers and operators to quickly build and support a wide variety of new applications as well as more easily interoperate with existing infrastructure and systems.
NetFront™ Browser BE is an advanced HTML5 browser featuring high stability on embedded platforms. NetFront Browser BE is an ideal solution for operators looking to deploy new generation hardware platforms and support the latest HTML5 standards on high performance DTVs, set-top boxes, game consoles and automotive infotainment systems.
NetFront Browser BE leverages the ACCESS experience deployed in over 1 billion units worldwide, and includes support for access to standardized APIs such as OpenGL-ES and GPU accelerated functions, as well as software engines.
