3. Data collection on this website

Cookies and tracking

This website does not use cookies or similar technologies to store information on your device, and it does not use analytics, tracking or advertising tools. All fonts and images are served from our own servers; no data is sent to third parties such as Google when you load a page.

Hosting and content delivery

This website is stored and delivered by BunnyWay, informacijske storitve d.o.o., Dunajska cesta 165, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia (“bunny.net”), using its storage service and content delivery network. The website files are stored in Frankfurt, Germany, with a copy in Stockholm, Sweden.

What data is processed?

To deliver the website, bunny.net's servers process the data your browser sends with every request: your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page or file requested, the amount of data transferred, the referring page, and your browser type and operating system. This data is recorded in server log files, with IP addresses shortened by removing their last part. The log files are deleted after three days.

Purpose and legal basis

The processing is necessary to deliver the website securely and reliably, and to detect and defend against attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a functioning and secure website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

Processors

We have concluded a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR with bunny.net. We have configured bunny.net to deliver the website exclusively from its servers within the European Economic Area (EEA), including to visitors from other parts of the world, and bunny.net processes the log files in the EU. Your data is therefore not transferred to third countries.

4. Contacting us

If you contact us by e-mail, we store and process your e-mail address, your message and any further information you provide, in order to handle your request and for possible follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR if your request relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures, and otherwise our legitimate interest in answering requests addressed to us (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

We delete this data as soon as your request has been dealt with and no further questions are to be expected, unless statutory retention obligations require us to keep it. If your message is a business letter, we keep it for six years as required by commercial and tax law (§ 257 HGB, § 147 AO); messages that serve as accounting records are kept for eight years. These periods start at the end of the calendar year in which the message was received.

Rights of the data subject

Within the scope of the applicable statutory provisions, you have the right at any time to:

  • obtain information about your personal data stored by us (Art. 15 GDPR),
  • have incorrect data corrected (Art. 16 GDPR),
  • have your data deleted (Art. 17 GDPR),
  • have the processing of your data restricted (Art. 18 GDPR),
  • receive your data in a structured, common and machine-readable format (Art. 20 GDPR),
  • object to processing based on our legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR).

Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged infringement. The authority responsible for us is the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen (www.ldi.nrw.de).
