ACCESS Twine™ for Car is the first automotive service recognized as official ‘media platform’ by German Media Authority

Tokyo, Japan, 12 March 2018ACCESS CO., LTD today announced that its ACCESS Twine™ for Car solution has been certified as a ‘Privileged media platform’ by the Hamburg / Schleswig-Holstein Media Authority (Medienanstalt Hamburg/Schleswig-Holstein, “MA HSH”), the German state media authority responsible for the approval of private broadcasting in both regions and for the supervision of platforms as well as licensed radio and television programs. ACCESS Twine for Car is the first automotive service to obtain this certification.

Tokyo, Japan, 22 October 2018 − ACCESS CO., LTD announced that its NetFront™ Browser BE v2 DTV Profile, the latest version of the high-performance browser for televisions, has been selected by Panasonic System Solutions Japan Co., Ltd. (“Panasonic”) for its CATV digital set-top box models that support the new 4K satellite broadcasting services set to start in December 2018. The browser will be used in TZ-LT1000BW, a new basic model to be launched in November 2018, and TZ-HT3000BW, a new model with a built-in 2 TB HDD to be launched in January 2019.

Tokyo, Japan, 20 September 2018 − ACCESS CO., LTD announced that its NetFront Browser BE v2 DTV Profile, latest version of the high-performance browser for televisions, has been selected by Panasonic Corporation for its DIGA Blu-ray disc recorder with built-in 4K tuner (DMR-SUZ2060), to be released for the Japanese market. Oberhausen, Germany, 10 September 2018 − ACCESS CO., LTD and Foxxum GmbH today announce a collaboration to offer cost-effective, high quality User Interfaces (UIs) for multi-platform services based on Linux for Android Open Source Project (AOSP).
